Loyalty to Smithtown
We will honor a person who has devoted energy, drive and enthusiasm to the Smithtown School District through the years.
Demonstrated Social Consciousness:
- Working with children.
- Political organizations; i.e. encouraging others to become involved in the political process.
- Organizing demonstrations; i.e. fighting for the rights of animals, the unborn, abortion rights, women, African Americans, gays and lesbians, anti-war, lower taxes, etc.
- Community involvement.
